Spring in Sedona
Red Rocks of Sedona Stage Race Retreat

Our spring 2023 RYHO retreat located among the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona. You'll experience the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure as we participate in the two day Sedona Stage Race during the day then unwind under the star studded sky at night. Each runner will have their choice of distance for runs Saturday and Sunday, ranging 10-35 miles.

You can expect to spend time getting to know like minded runners, to fill your belly to your heart's content, to take in all the views on some of the best trails around, and to dig deep for a little soulful reflection.

WEEKEND ITINERARY

Thursday

Arrival                  12PM

Shakeout Run       4PM

Meet & Mingle     6PM

Dinner              6:30PM

Thursday will be spent settling in and getting to know each other. We'll go for an easy run to kick off the weekend then head back to the house for a little mingling, a beautiful dinner and a restful night.

Friday

Breakfast                   8AM

Morning Yoga        10AM

Lunch                        1PM

Race Check in           4PM

Dinner                  6:30PM

We'll start Friday with a beautiful breakfast followed by a pre-run yoga sequence. After a fueling lunch, we'll head over to race check in to learn all the details before our events. We'll then have dinner and drinks while we pack our gear and get ready for our big adventure. 

Saturday

Run Start Times              6:30-7AM

Evening recovery yoga      5:00PM

Dinner                                 6:30PM

Saturday will be a full day, packed with fun from sunrise to sunset. We'll start the day with a nourishing breakfast to fuel us for a full day on the trail. Runners will take off between 6:30 and 7:00am, depending on distance.  After we complete our mileage, we'll head back to the retreat house for celebratory snacks, drinks, and a recovery yoga session before dinner. Dinner will be a deliciously seasonal meal made with all local ingredients.

Sunday

Sunday will look a like like Saturday but with different trails and more celebrations!  We'll finish the Stage Race with the post race party then head back to the retreat house to unwind and relax. You'll be fed a delicious meal with all the recovery benefits after such a strenuous two days.

We'll wrap up Monday with a reflective meditation session, one more yoga session, and a wholesome lunch before heading home. 

All meals will be provided for the weekend! We will be using all local produce and whole foods to provide the most wholesome nutrition possible. For those interested in plant based eating, we will be doing a unique focus on those options throughout the weekend. All meals will be prepared in a demonstration setting by Lauren, our Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, for you to learn the preparation and cooking techniques if interested.
